What the Records Pack Contains
Every patient returns to NZ with:
1. Signed clinical report (PDF, 10–15 pages): Diagnosis, treatment scope performed, implant specifications (brand, system, size, position), prosthetic material, occlusal records, post-operative instructions
2. DICOM files: Full CBCT datasets, pre-surgical and post-surgical. On USB drive.
3. STL files: Digital prosthetic design files. On USB drive.
4. 3-page patient summary: Plain-language version of clinical report for patient reference
5. Maintenance protocol: Specific hygiene instructions, professional cleaning intervals, imaging schedule
6. Bite registration records: Occlusal records for NZ GDP reference
7. Abutment and implant specifications: For NZ GDP to identify components if emergency repair is needed
These files are also transmitted directly to the patient's nominated NZ GDP via secure digital channel within 5 business days of the final Hyderabad appointment.

What the NZ GDP Does
The NZ GDP performs routine maintenance that does not require specialist intervention:
- Peri-implant probing (checking for bleeding or bone loss around implants)
- Professional hygiene, scaling around implant collars
- OPG or periapical X-rays for bone level comparison (using Stunning Dentistry baseline data)
- Occlusal review
- Minor occlusal adjustments if needed
The NZ GDP has the Stunning Dentistry clinical team's contact details for direct clinical queries. If a question arises that requires specialist input, the GDP communicates with the Stunning Dentistry prosthodontist via email or video.

What the Coordinator Does
The named coordinator (Ella Watson) manages all non-clinical aspects of the aftercare relationship:
- Schedules video consultations at NZST-compatible times
- Routes clinical concerns to the treating prosthodontist (response within 24 hours, urgent within 1 hour)
- Coordinates NZ GDP referral if an in-person assessment is needed
- Manages warranty claims if a component concern is raised
- Books and coordinates second visit appointments
- Tracks all patient check-in milestones

What Remote Follow-Up Cannot Replace
Remote review is a supplement to local NZ dental care, not a replacement for it. The remote clinical team cannot:
- Physically examine the implant or prosthesis
- Probe peri-implant tissue
- Perform OPG or CBCT imaging
- Provide emergency in-person treatment
For anything requiring physical examination, the coordinator facilitates an urgent referral to a NZ dental practice that has the relevant records and can communicate with the treating team in Hyderabad.
