What to Submit

If you do not have recent X-rays, describe your situation. The team will advise on what imaging to obtain locally in NZ and at what cost, some NZ practices accept self-referral for OPG at NZD 80–120.

How the Assessment Works

Step 1, Coordinator review (within 4 NZ business hours)

Ella Watson acknowledges receipt and confirms whether the submitted records are sufficient for clinical assessment. If records are incomplete, she advises specifically what is needed.

Step 2, Clinical team review (3–5 business days)

The prosthodontist and oral surgeon assigned to your case type review your records. For complex anatomy (severe bone loss, previous failed implants, zygomatic indication), additional CBCT review may be requested before a quote is issued.

Step 3, Written indicative quote in NZD

Issued by email. The quote specifies:

• Recommended treatment scope
• Implant system (Straumann SLActive or Nobel Biocare NobelActive)
• Prosthetic material (monolithic zirconia, e.max, other)
• Number of implants
• Visit structure (one-visit or two-visit protocol)
• Clinical fee in NZD, the number that is honoured if the scope does not change

Step 4, Video consultation (optional, recommended)

30-minute call with the treating clinician before you commit to anything. Not a sales call. A clinical consultation, you ask about the surgical approach, the anatomy challenge in your case, the expected recovery, and what happens if something changes on the day of surgery.

What Happens to Your Records

All records are transmitted via encrypted channels and stored in compliance with data protection standards. Your records are reviewed only by the assigned clinical team. They are not shared with third parties.

Your records become part of the permanent clinical file if you proceed to treatment, and are included in the records pack handed to you and your NZ GDP at treatment completion.

When We Will Tell You Not to Travel

If your case does not justify the cost of travel, we will say so in the first response. Cases where the saving commonly inverts:

• Single implant, NZ quote under NZD 7,000, travel cost from Auckland exceeds the clinical saving
• 2–4 unit veneers, clinical saving does not cover a return flight
• Acute emergency requiring treatment within days, dental tourism is a planned pathway only

After You Receive Your Quote

• Ask questions, the coordinator routes clinical questions to the treating clinician within 24 hours
• Request a video consultation with the treating clinician
• Compare the quote with NZ providers
• Do nothing, there is no follow-up pressure and no sales cadence

When you are ready to proceed, a 10% deposit by bank transfer confirms treatment dates and triggers the medical invitation letter for your Indian e-Medical Visa.
